I just happened to run across this video of Meg Jones from the International Trade Centre explaining why economic empowerment for women is important–and then getting really concrete, practical, and critical about what needs to be done to actually make it happen. I really recommend this. It’s a year old, but I have only just seen it. Meg is always passionate and pragmatic. But I must say this talk is brilliant.
